Factory GMC SIERRA Tailgate Handle Camera in Motion harnesses are the perfect choices for those looking to keep an eye on your trailer pulling that load, or that rude tailgate driver behind you. With this T Harness, combined with our Plug and Play Navigation Software Unlock or 360 custom camera module, you’ll be all set. Our Custom Built Harnesses come with everything you need; they’re hand-made by trained experts right here in America.
Please Note: This product REQUIRES either our custom software programming (available for 2016+ vehicles only or vehicles equipped with our CarPlay / Android Auto Upgrade) OR our 360 Surround View Camera System and our Audio Video Input module with Smart Phone Screen Mirroring (composite video adapter required) in order to pull up the image on the vehicle’s factory screen. Alternatively, you can also purchase the harness, with the add-on composite video output harness in the options above, for viewing the camera through your own external module.
Installing the tailgate harness is super easy, simply plugging in at the camera junction at the back of the truck. That junction is pointed out in the videos below

- To view the rear camera in motion you will need to combine the harness with our Factory Video Unlock Service (available on 2016+ vehicles only or vehicles equipped with our CarPlay / Android Auto Upgrade) or select the add on composite video output harness from the options above, to view the camera through an external module like our 360 Surround View System-with optional blind spot cameras and our Audio Video Input module with Smart Phone Screen Mirroring.
